Some time ago, Jamie Lee Curtis has stirred a wave of comments on Huffington Post newspaper website, where she published an editorial criticizing American society for the obsessive fight against aging. “I am appalled that the term we use to talk about aging is “anti.” Aging is as natural as a baby’s softness and scent. Aging is human evolution in its pure form.”

In 2002, at 43, Jamie Lee Curtis dared to appear without wearing makeup in “More” magazine, to show the world, that perfect images of celebrities from media, are not real at all… She wanted to do this step to demonstrate that imperfection can be enjoyable and beautiful, despite the women rush to look flawless exactly like girls from the cover of magazines.

She admits that Hollywood’s obsession with “youth-without-old age” pushed her more towards addiction. A lifting surgery done at age 35 left her with unbearable pains; to skip the pain, she became e a drug addict just like her father. She passed over it and now is a strong supporter of drug campaigns.

“I attempted various types of plastic surgery. But every time something went wrong. I felt misshapen, just not natural any more. And I think it was a big stimulator of my abuse…”

Now Jamie Lee Curtis is ready “to take a step outside the box”……
