Billboard is one the best known weekly magazines devoted entirely to the music industries, as well as one of the oldest titles available. One of the key parts of the magazine is the chart lists they publish every weekly, such as the ‘Billboard Hot 100 – which tracks some of the most popular songs regardless of genre – but entirely based on sales and airplay. There is also the Billboard 200 for album sales. Billboard is an all round great magazine for anyone interested in the industry, it’s unbiasd, honest and detailed in it’s reviews or criiques, as well as really offering the reader a chance to diversify their musical tastes and interests moving forward. A great read.
